Very comfortable and pleasant stay overall

Very spacious and clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Location is close to many attractions that are within 10-15 walk or subway ride.

Noise cancellation is a bit weak, the shower head set up leaves it at an awkward height.

Very relaxing stay, pleasant, spacious rooms, very nice bathrooms.

Spacious rooms, pleasant and helpful staff (who spoke English), great location, very nice lobby area where the family could gather to make plans for the day. Breakfast was not included, but the restaurant did offer a breakfast buffet with a wide range of available food options, and the dining area was next to the outdoor gardens. The window looked out at large, tall buildings and highways. We could see Taiwan 101 in the distance. The staff helped us get taxi'sd

The swimming pool looked nice, but it was really set up for lap swimming, not for family recreation, so we did not really use it.

Exceptional

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful and they have a nice small gym.

The location is 12+ minutes walk from any MRT station and in a bit of a dead zone - it takes a few minutes walk in any direction to get to any lively area.

Comfortable stay with excellent service

The service was excellent - hotel staff were always ready to help with luggage/booking taxis and were really efficient. Travelled with a 1 year old child and there was a baby bathtub provided which was so thoughtful of them. Room and bed were big.

Very Good

We had a quiet room facing away from the road. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Heated outdoor pool and pretty nice gym. Walking distance from Jade and Flower markets. The huge RT mega supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. And walking distance to many restaurants.

While generally the location is good and right in the middle of the city, it requires walking to the subway stations. The closest is Zhongxiao Xinsheng station which takes about 12 minutes by walking.

Wow what can I say.

Wow what can I say. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing. Miramar is a lovely hotel fairly central in Taipei. It is beautifully designed. The rooms are massive , extravagant and very well attended to. The bathroom is great too with heated toilets. There’s marble all around. We didn’t use the pool as we were too busy but the gym is large and great. It’s ten min walk to the local Tube station. Taxi to Taipei mainstatio is only 150 ntd Staff are great. They have a patisserie on site. It’s fairly yum. I’m yet to see wider corridors.

Can’t fault it really. Apart from the fact that they don’t supply milk and black tea in the room. ( but we should’ve asked , and I’m sure they had that ) If your a late night out person , this can be slightly isolated.

Great Stay

We arrived at the Miramar Garden Hotel on Sunday 12th January 2020 and stayed for 2 nights. The room rate was well priced for 4 guests in two interconnecting rooms. Our stay was great. Room: Modern and spacious. Well air-conditioned. Lots of storage space. Nice office area. Bathrooms were very comfortable. Great Wi-Fi. Service: Good. Although, English speaking is a challenge. This is the same across Taiwan. Location: Good Location. 15 minutes from Taipei 101. 25 minutes from the National Palace. 15 Minutes from the main shopping areas. Getting taxis was not a problem. Generally, very little traffic. Not many local restaurants / bars. Fairly isolated near the motorway. Other Highlights: Spa area was brilliant. Male / Female separate sections in traditional Japanese style. Very relaxing after a long day walking around Taipei.

Staff could have spoken more English.

No hotel ever dumped my own pillow case randomly at the bedside table as in the photo. 5 star hotel service should not be like this. Power shutdown while we checking out but they managed to fix it as soon as they could.

Amazing hotel with splendid facilities

The rooms were extremely spacious, with a special door that linked the toilet to the closet. Switches were also super quiet, which meant we won't disturb our partners when getting to the toilet at night. I particularly enjoyed the fully-equipped gym. Be it arms day, legs day, or chest day, you can hit all the muscles you want in the gym. The Japanese-styled sento was also a huge plus. Super clean and super relaxing.

The swimming pool was heated, but I was unable to take a dip as they required us to have a swimcap in order to enter the waters. I think that is a good thing, but the hotel could have informed us ahead of time so we can pack the necessary item.

The room was really big and spacious.

The room was really big and spacious. The noise from the busy roads could not be heard at all. Breakfast was ok, but good selection.

10 mins the walk from MRT and restaurants, not too much right nearby. Bathroom was a little odd layout, and could have been cleaner.

The staff is very helpful with everything from check-in, sites nearby, organizing tours, etc. Very comfortable bed. Spacious rooms. Good central location between old and new Taipei. Lots of shops near the hotel. Lovely spa area and good variety of gym equipment. Nice little cafe-like restaurant next to pool.

The breakfast was OK. Too many requests for deposits and holds on credit card.

Enjoyable stay especially the pool and poolside bar.

Very friendly staff. A terrific swimming pool . Large rooms ,plenty storage and a great bathroom and a lovely breakfast room.

Difficult to understand the staff sometimes as levels of English was poor unlike Singapore. We had to buy swim caps as you couldn’t swim in pool without one.
